Also [skill]Feigned Neutrality[/skill] wont work on the sin as it is an enchantment (unfortunatly)
and also just for ya all to know, the 2 fastest builds in NM are the Rit build and Ranger Build

oh yeah i forgot about [skill]feigned neutrality[/skill], but with taking a constant half damage from dark escape, you should be fine, take some extra armour in the form of "I am Unstoppable!" if you must.

Now confirmed to work with more professions:
Warrior
Ranger
Ritualist
Necromancer
Mesmer
Assassin
Elementalist
Nec confirmed by my screenie. Mesmer confirmed today in game by a friend.
so that's only like 3 left: Monk, Paragon and Dervish
I think Paragon and Dervish do work due to their high armor, but it needs to be confirmed.

Well, Dervish doesn't work (apart from that bonder version posted), and i can't think of any ways to survive there.
Elite - gone
Enchants - no chance
Conviction + heals - not enough
I also take around 80 damage per spirit rift, and the energy just gets drained in 20 secs.

I take about 95 damage from Spirit Rift. If a warrior can handle the energy, so can a Dervish. I'd like to do it for you but I can't, I don't have a Dervish.

I'd stick with Don't Feel No Pain's build. The other classes can work, but for almost a garunteed easy farm, do the warrior one.

There are alot of rangers. You have an inherant +20 vs physical, we do not. Sure we may have more energy, but if a Dervish has to spam vengeful alot more often in order to survive, the energy won't handle it.

ive sucessfully done NORMAL MODE Dcore farming with my paragon.. only needed 2 skills, on both me and my ranger hero..
Vwk + "Never Surrender!" 12-16
SQ + QZ @ 12, didnt have my ranger runed up and still didnt die...
sadly with my luick, i only got 6 cores in 4 runs.. 1 gold item.. i hate gw...
on the bright side i got a black dye... woot! (maybe my luck is changing o0)

Am I doing something wrong? I am using the assassin build an I always die before SQ and QZ recharge. And the e-management is not that great. I find myself relatively quickly with 1 energy and the need to refresh a skill while waiting for my energy to reach 5.
A video and/or explanation would greatly help me.

In this case conviction acts as a health regen because you aren't enchanted. So the only extra armor you have are your insignias and unstoppable. I still haven't been able to make it through the first wave but i'm working on it. The E mgmt is a definite problem. Maybe with AAA they may go down a little quicker so you don't have to withstand it so long. I don't know if anyone reads this thread anymore but if someone is i'll let you know.

Your paragon build does work, it is however very, very, very easy to slip and die. When it works, it is great. Miss a skill by a fraction of a second and it is instant death.

What about on a ranger:
Stick [card]Greater Conflagration[/card] and [card]Winter[/card] on your hero (much like with the mes).
Then the ranger takes:
[card]Vengeful Was Khanhei[/card][card]Vengeful Weapon[/card][card]Storm Chaser[/card][card]Troll Unguent[/card]
and full frostbound insignia (higher armour vs cold dmg).

I just made it through the first wave with my Derv. I got 2 destroyer cores, Brown Dye (ugh), and a lockpick. Crazy health spikes though. Could be tough to do it multiple times in a row. But it can be done.

Restoration Magic: 12
Earth Prayers: 12+1
Norn Rank: 4
Ranger Skills:
Serpents Quickness
Quickening Zephyr
Edge of Extinction
Ranger Attributes:
Beast Mastery: 8
Expertice: 10+2
Wilderness Survival: 12+3+1
Edge of Extinction was the key to the Dervish build for this mission. I only used AAA on the very last Destroyer Standing. Earth Prayers of 13 is also important because it gives conviction 4 pips of Health Regen and an EP of 12 only gives 3. Gonna go try this one more time good luck.
